Hyperhidrosis - Excessive Sweating
Wed, 23 Dec 2009

Hyperhidrosis is a very unusual skin disorder in which the skin of an individual brings out sweat excessively. As the name suggests the body brings out more than the normal amount of sweat than the human body needs to maintain optimal temperature.

Types of Hyperhidrosis

Contrary to general belief, many more people suffer from this disorder than previously thought. It is estimated that about 3 percent of the population of the entire planet suffer from hyperhidrosis in varying degrees. Hyperhidrosis may either be general (when it affects the whole body) or focal (when it is restricted to specific parts of the body)

It could also be classified as excessive or minimal depending on the degree and frequency of the sweat that comes out of the skin.

If the sweating has an unknown cause it is called primary hyperhidrosis and when the cause can actually be traced to a particular thing, it is called secondary hyperhidrosis.

Effects of Hyperhidrosis

Most people living with this condition actually seek for ways in which to get a cure or a very effective treatment but studies have revealed that a large percentage of them end up not getting the cure they so much need, and consequently this has affected the world in so many silent and often serious ways that most people have ignored and still ignore till today.

Some people with this condition often find it difficult to negotiate in everyday social and business situations that require them to mingle with others which often causes them to withdraw from society and isolate themselves and eventually they develop a very low self--esteem about themselves. Others find it very difficult to perform simple everyday tasks such as using a pen to write, driving a car, holding firm to things, some even find it difficult to walk with effective balance!

It is indeed a very degrading condition.

If you suffer from hyperhidrosis or have a loved one that suffers from it and would very much love to stop it completely and permanently. Come to this place and we shall help you. http://www.hyperhidrosiss-cure.blogspot.com
