Foods That Cause Constipation - Avoid These to Give Your Hemorrhoids Time to Heal

When suffering from a hemorrhoid problem, constipation is your worst enemy. In fact constipation may have been one of the primary causes of the hemorrhoids in the first place. Constipation is also one of the main reasons that getting over hemorrhoids for many is a problem. Maintaining a diet free from constipation will greatly increase the chances of your hemorrhoids to heal much quicker. There are some foods that should be avoided as they can cause these problems.

Foods to avoid that can cause constipation symptoms:

Large Amounts of Meat - Meat can cause constipation as slows down the digestive process.

Starches - Eating too many potatoes or too much corn will give you too much starch which can cause problems.

High Carbohydrate Foods - These would be food such as bread and pasta.

Dairy - Lots of milk and yogurts can solidify in the body and are difficult to digest.

Processed Foods - Processed foods are low in nutrients, low in fiber, high in fat, and harder to digest. This would include fast foods and foods found in packaging.

High in Sugar Products

The big problem with these foods is that they take more energy to digest and are lacking in fiber. If you get more fiber in your diet your stool will soften and be much healthier for your hemorrhoids. Instead of the bad foods go for things like fruits and vegetables, especially ones high in water, as they are simple to digest and high in fiber lessening constipation problems.
