Many people have this desire and want to look their tallest. Even though surgery has proven to be effective at enhancing a person's height, the side effects of long term pain in the legs usually deter people from trying it. Luckily, there are ways that you can dress if you want to create the image of a taller you, or you can also do specific exercises that I have done myself to grow more than an inch taller.
1. Be Careful of the Length of Your Tie
Be careful not to walk around with a long tie as that can definitely make you look smaller than you really are. If you wear a tie regularly, always ensure that your tie is of the appropriate length every time, preferably keeping them near your waistband level.
2. How to Look Taller By Monochromatic Dressing
To produce a strong vertical line from your head to toe, you will want to sport a single dressing color and match your entire outfit to that one similar color. Monochromatic dressing is a must for all the people who wish to look taller. You can also choose to wear the same or similar colored pants, shoes and belt to further make your body look even more elongated.
3. How to Make Your Legs Seem Longer Than They Really Are
Many people like to leave their shirt tucked out. Although this is comfortable, you will want to make sure that your shirt is not too long if you have shorter legs. Tucking in your shirt instead of leaving a long shirt hanging out can actually make you seem taller and make your body make look more appropriately balanced.
Finally, the last tip is that you can try is keeping a short haircut. This creates the impression that you are taller than you really are, and helps to elongate the body.
