That depends on how rapidly you are gaining weight. If you are adding more than one or two pounds a week to your weight, then maybe you need to rework your diet plan. There is always a right and a wrong way to go about doing things...even when you are referring to fast weight gain.
So what is a healthy way to gain weight rapidly? Start by counting your calories. How many do you eat on a normal day? You don't have to change your calorie intake, just record it for now. Also make note of your weight.
Most people put up a fuss because they have to cut BACK on calories. What I want for you to do it up your calorie count by 500. For your first week you should eat 500 calories a day more than you have in the past. I know that seems like a lot of food, but space your meals out. Instead of eating your typical three meals a day, try eating 5 or 6 smaller meals.
You are not getting off that easily though. Working out plays a big part in gaining weight. Get to the gym and start lifting weights regularly. Please do your research though before you pick up a weight. The idea is to gain weight in a healthy way and by doing that you need work out correctly.
Just imagine if you could add eight pounds a month by increasing your calorie intake and working out. This is a healthy and successful way to put on pounds. Once you have stopped gaining weight off of your new calorie intake, increase your count by 250. It is only a matter of time before you meet the weight you are looking for.
