Hyperhidrosis Causes - A Brief Look at Different Hyperhidrosis Causes
Fri, 04 Dec 2009

Every condition has a trigger to it and so in order to understand more about what the true hyperhidrosis causes are it becomes necessary to look at certain triggering events. In some cases, these triggers are not controllable and this makes it hard to put down the effects of such a disease.

One of the many possible hyperhidrosis causes is heredity and in fact many doctors ascribe the problem to being one of the genes. If your parents were prone to sweating profusely chances are greater that you too will inherit the problem.

Another possible cause of too much sweating is puberty and also menopause. We all know that teenagers tend to be more prone to sweating profusely and the reasons for this could be psychological as teens will fear changes taking place in their bodies. Therefore, puberty is a time when people can develop this problem while menopause too is a critical part of a woman's life and this condition can also trigger it.

Another possible reason for excessive sweating seems to be that a person's nerves might start to malfunction and this produces excessive sweating. Nerves that are the receptors of the brain are positioned in different areas in the body and they send messages to the person's brain and then the brain acts upon the messages it has received.

If the nerves stop working precisely it can easily send the wrong messages to the brain thereby inducing the brain to cause the body to sweat for the wrong reasons and this can turn into an excessive sweating condition.

Other possible hyperhidrosis causes include abnormal functioning of a person's spinal cord, and also abnormal functioning of the brain. In addition, conditions such as obesity can cause this problem and the same is the case when a person eats certain kinds of foods. Hot weather too is a reason and so too is performing extraneous activities and exercises
