A third tip is to eat foods that are high in carbohydrates but have a low Glycemic Index (G.I.) which is how fast glucose enters your bloodstream after the carbohydrates are converted to it. This is important because carbohydrates trigger insulin production which contributes to the progression of fat tissues in your body.

If you eat foods with a low Glycemic Index you are decreasing the fat tissue development. A few examples of low G.I. foods are whole wheat spaghetti, old fashioned oatmeal, tomato soup and canned baked beans.
