Basics4Health - A Simple Philosophy For Healthy Living in the 21st Century
Wed, 04 Nov 2009

Life can be complex and this article is all about simplicity. Basics4Health is the philosophy of giving the body the 4 things that are basic to its origins: water, salt, algae and sunlight, so that the body can naturally do the things that it should, such as producing energy and repairing itself.

We live in an information society. Overloaded by the sheer volume of solutions for health issues being offered, is it any wonder that we can become confused and impetuous in our approach to keeping our bodies healthy? Some of us move from one fad to another and never encounter the underlying basics that exist for every body.

Let's start at the beginning. Our bodies have developed over billions of years. Originally there was a photon conversion unit which then grew and multiplied until there developed a cell. And this cell was called ALGAE. The algae got knocked around by the waves in the salty ocean and the sunlight impinged on it and the result was the evolution of a protective shell. And so life evolved into higher forms in reaction to the challenges of the environment...but at the base of it all was algae. It perhaps comes as no surprise then that algae is very assimilable for the body on a cellular level. Wild super blue green algae from Upper Klamath Lake in Oregon for example is 97% assimilable. One doesn't need to digest it even. it is absorbed directly by the cells.

So water, salt, algae and sun...the Basics of life itself and the Basics4Health. Let's take a quick look at each of these 4 elements.

Water is most vital for life to exist. Factually we have water bodies with some solids in them. Putting IDEAL water into the body i.e. water that is pure, lightly remineralised, energised and full of oxygen, will facilitate optimum functioning. Combine the water with Himalayan salt, (complete with 84 minerals) and Super Blue Green Algae with all its minerals, amino acids, proteins and omegas and the body gets nourished, energised, protected and renewed. Eating algae is a way in itself of harnessing the energy of the sun as algae converts sunlight into energy.

Taking time to give the body sunlight is also very important. It doesn't mean that you simply fry yourself on a beach for 2 weeks of the year, but that you regularly expose your body to sunlight so that it can create the vitamin D it needs.

Water, salt, algae and sunlight. The body began with them and they are still needed today.
