Another thing that most parents fail to notice is their kids, trotting along in their Nikes and Calvin Kleins, have turned in toes, or bowed legs, some are knock-kneed and have fallen arches. How can you spend so much on the shoe and ignore how the foot that walks in that shoe functions?
When your feet are not working right they throw off the ankle, the knee, the hips and the low back. And then people wonder why 7 out of 10 people suffer with back pain!
Of course most people today realize that back pain is related to vertebrae being out of alignment. Here is the rest of the story on vertebral alignment. Every nerve leaving the brain and going through the spinal cord has a twin. One nerve in each pair goes to a muscle and the other nerve of the pair goes to an organ system. That premise is the foundation of specialized kinesiology. By testing a muscle one knows the integrity of the organ system.
For example, if your quadriceps test weak then something is not as it should be in your large intestine. You may feel fine but the fact is something is not working as it needs to and over time, if ignored, you will wind up with serious problems in the bowel.
And as an added bonus, each organ system runs on a meridian and has a psychological theme attached. So knowing which organs are out of integrity tells you what emotional underpinnings are in your body and not being addressed. Fix them now and the physical problems will clear up all by themselves.
You are as healthy as you choose to be. If you live unconsciously then you will not know you have physical health issues until those problems are temporary pain, a chronic condition, or a disease.
By the way, if you fail to resolve the emotional issues that caused the physical problem then that physical problem will re-appear. You may see the chiropractor 100 times and the corrections will fail to hold because treating the symptom only provides a temporary solution. Go to the cause. Of course there are other reason that "fix" will not hold - all of which are handily addressed in specialized kinesiology.
