Everybody deals with sweaty armpits, no big deal. But it is when it comes to living with excessive facial sweating otherwise known as Facial Hyperhidrosis. Being the owner of a face that just won't cool down not only causes physical discomfort. But also can have a huge effect on one's comfortableness around people. This can cause poor self esteem leading to stress and anxiety creating more sweat and unease. I never truly lived until I discovered how to cure facial sweating.
For years it was thought that Hyperhidrosis was a genetic condition. Since then, it has been shown that other factors may have to do with severe facial sweating. It was once said that it only affected those who are overweight. But that just isn't true whatsoever. This terrible condition affects people of all variations.
Some people just have poor hygiene. An adjustment in the average amount of showers in a week could be all one needs to cure them self of the excessive sweating. then again this may only be a solution for milder of cases.
Aside from the social embarrassment the worse part about extreme facial sweating is that it can drench your whole entire head with sweat. This can damage your hair, not to mention who wants have their hair constantly soaked in sweat. This also leads to an uncomfortable, itchy and flaky scalp. And for women with this disorder make up isn't even an option for it will just run right off their face.
If you were to see a doctor about this problem, chances are he wouldn't hesitate to schedule you for surgery. That's big money in his pocket, but that is also a lot of pain for your body and your wallet.
I would recommend alternative methods to the doctor approach. Lately, Botox injections and topical antiperspirants seem to be some of the popular tactics for battling this problem.
Botox treatments have not been approved for handling Hyperhidrosis as they have been known to cause serious side effects as well can be rather expensive.
Topical antiperspirants may seem safer but require you to leave it on your skin for hours at a time and then once you take it off you start sweating all over again. So I don't see a point in trying either.
I would just continue showering regularly and taking good care of my body. But if you really want to and have weighed out the risks you could go ahead and try the Botox or antiperspirants.
