OK, so you finally landed a date with that hottie you met at work. You get all nice and dressed up, you go out and the first half hour is great. But then you see a look of disgust on your date's face... you look down in horror as you notice your armpits staining up your shirt... oh no!
Excessive sweating is definitely an embarrassing problem, and for those dealing with this issue it's no laughing matter. It's actually a pretty common problem, but that doesn't change the fact that it's also quite an embarrassing problem! Luckily however, there are some ways to reduce your sweating that you can try out for yourself at home.
Reduce your stress.
If you're dealing with problems at work, school, home, etc. this usually leads to stress. And stress leads to anxiety, which triggers all kinds of biological responses in the body, the most notable one for our purposes being sweat. Someone with an excessive sweating problem will unfortunately sweat much more than usual under stress. So of course, you want to do your best to stop stress at the source! Stress dealing techniques go beyond the scope of this article, but the point to take here is to know that stress management will go a long way toward improving your sweat problem.
Wear the right clothes.
This one's easy - simply choose clothing that will allow your skin to breathe. Cotton and silk are the top materials to facilitate this. And this just goes without saying, if you wear less clothes, your skin will breathe better. So if it's hot out, wear T-shirts, shorts, etc. You might think this should be common knowledge but you'd be surprised!
